Its workflow involves a series of stages, namely melt extrusion, die shaping, and controlled cooling. Uses expensive functional materials only for the thin outer layers, while the core uses a cost-effective polymer, significantly reducing costs.
The symmetrical structure produces a flat, stable film that resists curling and warping, ensuring good processability.
The dual supply allows for different materials on each outer layer (e.g., puncture-resistant on one side, heat-sealable on the other), enabling diverse functionalities.
Requires only two extruders to produce a three-layer film, lowering equipment investment and enhancing operational stability.
